In 2011 the ARCS’ Congress was all about partnerships. ARCS Australia offered a neutral forum for exchange of information and we welcomed the contribution of our partners in our endeavour to foster the professional development of our members and others contributing to the development of therapeutic goods.

The process of bringing new therapeutic goods to market and to patients requires collaboration between industry, discovery groups, researchers and government during the development stages. We were delighted to have collaborated closely with representatives from several government departments at State and Federal level, with research networks across Australia and with peak industry bodies in the development of this program – you will find they were well represented amongst the speakers at the 2011 Congress.

Particular thanks go to our industry partners who funded the travel and attendance of their overseas colleagues to bring an international perspective to several sessions.
