ARCS’ CONTRIBUTION TO REDUCING THE CONGRESS’ CARBON FOOTPRINT

Last year ARCS raised a modest $518, with 157 delegates kindly contributing an extra $3.30 on top of their conference registration to offset the carbon from their conference attendance. From the contributions collected, 157 trees were planted on behalf of the ARCS Annual Conference in Tumut NSW, west of Canberra, at a site called “Humes Crossing”.

ARCS hopes to improve on last years result and will again be encouraging delegates to donate an extra $3.40 when registering to contribute to offsetting their carbon footprint for this event through the planting of a tree in a carbon sink forest. Proceeds will be donated to Greenfleet who are a not for profi t forestry offset organisation and will plant these trees on our behalf. For further information about our Green Event, please contact Belinda King on 02 8905 0829.

Session handouts available online: Where permission is received from the Author, ARCS is making speaker presentations available online. Upon registration a secure link will be emailed to registered delegates giving easy access before, during, and after the event, to download and print the required presentations. The links to the presentations will be populated to this page as they become available.
